Blackfire Crystal Coat Paint Coating Problems: A Frustrating Experience

As an avid car enthusiast and detailer, I've had the pleasure of trying out various products from Autogeek's catalog. Unfortunately, my experience with Blackfire Crystal Coat (BFCC) was a disappointing one.

I tried using BFCC twice, with two different attempts in varying weather conditions, but both times ended in frustration. The product refused to spread evenly, and I couldn't get rid of the high spots no matter how hard I tried. On the first attempt, I applied the product in late summer heat and humidity, but it didn't seem to make a difference. The application pad would stick to the surface while spreading it, and when trying to remove high spots, it became too sticky and started pulling threads out of my Microfiber (MF) towels.

Undeterred, I decided to try again on a cooler day with low humidity. However, this attempt was even worse. The product would not spread properly, and the application pad stuck to the surface like glue. When trying to remove high spots, it became so sticky that it started pulling threads out of my MF towels.

After two failed attempts, I reluctantly wrote off the BFCC as a learning experience and moved on to other products. While I have had good experiences with other Blackfire products in the past, this particular one was a letdown.

The pictures attached show the disappointing results I achieved with the BFCC. The clarity difference between the left and right sides of the picture is striking, with the area where I applied the product appearing foggy and blurry. In comparison, my wrist and forearm on the right side appear clear and sharp.

I know that there may be a possibility that I got a bad batch of the product, but I was expecting more from Blackfire's Crystal Coat paint coating. The lack of quick flashing and drying time was also a disappointment. Unlike other coatings I've used in the past, such as WG Deep Gloss Liquid Seal, the BFCC did not seem to dry as quickly or produce the same level of clarity.

Overall, my experience with Blackfire Crystal Coat Paint Coating Problems has been frustrating and disappointing. While I appreciate the efforts that Blackfire puts into creating high-quality products, this particular one fell short of my expectations. If you're considering trying out the BFCC, I would suggest exercising caution and doing your research before making a purchase.
